A Little About Me
How I became a professional writer and public speaker.
The Start
In 2002, I was given the opportunity to be the public address announcer for Long Beach State Men’s Ice Hockey. Most nights I donned a pro suit, some nights like this one for Halloween I’d be Charlie Brown.
I graduated in 2007 with degrees in English/Creative Writing and Broadcast Journalism but stayed with the club through the 2012-2013 season as public address announcer and play-by-play broadcaster.
More Venues,
More Fun
When I wasn’t at the ice rink between 2003-2007, I was rocking & rolling as the Party Host at a major barcade, introducing weekly musical acts, interviewing celebrity guests for special events, and emceeing karaoke and corporate parties. That landed me a role as the on-field emcee for an independent baseball team and the joy of performing in front of thousands of fans.
Reno Life
Since 2017, I’ve been living my best life in Reno, NV with my ever-loving girlfriend of 10 years. Currently I’m the play-by-play broadcaster for the Reno Ice Raiders Hockey Club and I’ve been hosting a weekly pub trivia for six years running.
I have also announced for the local baseball and college teams and emceed charity events at Reno Ice.
